November 20, 2022; Gonzales, Calif.: World Children's Day offers an inspirational entry-point for participants to promote dialogues and actions that will build a better world for our children.
One of the best ways to educate children about the importance of protecting and restoring our planet is through organic farming. This World Children’s Day (Sunday, November 20th, 2022) through Thanksgiving week (ending November 27th, 2022), AgroThrive is partnering with its customers to support a special non-profit farm: for every purchase of liquid organic fertilizer made on AgroThrive.com on these days, the company will donate the same amount of fertilizer to Farm Discovery at a nonprofit youth children’s education organization located on Live Earth Farm in Watsonville, California.
With the help of their gardening community, AgroThrive has been fueling Farm Discovery with organic fertilizer since 2021, supporting their mission to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems.
The organization offers educational programs that inspire youth and families to transform their relationship to food, farming and nature by collaborating with community partners to learn from each other and extend their collective impact in the community. Their programs consist of school field trips, farm camps, hands on workshops, a produce distribution program and other special events.
“Offering a place where children can be immersed into the world of sustainable food production in a clean, pesticide free environment is truly special. Farm Discovery serves as an ecological haven for community members to experience organic farming through its natural challenges and beauties, and we are excited to be a part of the fun!”- said AgroThrive Marketing Director Marko Macura.
AgroThrive’s fast-acting biofertilizers are used by forward-thinking farmers and gardeners to increase yields and soil health on both organic and conventional farms. The same products are available to home gardeners on AgroThrive.com and will also be provided to Farm Discovery.
